Call for Special Sessions (Expired)

We are now requesting proposals for Special Sessions from our members.

The deadline for submitting proposals is April 15, 2010.

Each proposal for a special session should have at least one co-organizer based in the US and one co-organizer based in Chile. The proposal should include: (1) session title, (2) organizers (names, affiliations, email addresses, with one organizer designated as the contact person for all communications relating to the session), (3) a paragraph of description about the topic, (4) a list of potential speakers (these speakers need not have confirmed participation).

Please check the AMS website for further information about organizing a Special Session. We wish to draw your special attention to the last two paragraphs of item 2. GENERAL RULES GOVERNING SPECIAL SESSIONS of the AMS Manual for Special Session Organizers.
